For example, someone asks you, "Whose house is that?" and the house belongs to both Bob and you. However, you do not want to say, "It's Bob's and mine." You want to say, "It's Bob's and ____ house." This is a question that has always confounded my sister and me. Normally we would just use the former, but we were just wondering what the correct usage would be. Thanks in advance!
