i just had one of my answers deleted cos it had a swear word in it. this is cool with me, i know yahoo is a company and they have to keep a good public image so parents dont mind their kids using it etc, and deleting answers with swear words is part of that. so aside from yahoo answers, why is swearing so bad? its like theres this list of words which (for no reason apparent to me) are "bad." it just seems random and illogical. i guess it has religious routes - but then why is the s word unholy? there are plenty of other words that mean exactly the same thing but arent "bad." it just doesnt make sense to me. i believe in free speech :D any explanations or opinions welcome. thanks

Yahoo must use a Martian dictionary because none of these can be found in our Earth dictionaries.
Yahoo should suspend this game until they get their act together.
I will be making Google my home page from now on as a result of this ignorant stupidity.
Anyone else who plays this game, would you also enter some of the imbecilic words that yahoo think are valid and we can all have a laugh at their stupidity. Sensible words which do exist are rejected ie pelagic--- elegaic-- insipid-- I could go on

Bacteria grows in damp conditions. OR
Bacteria grow in damp conditions.
The only difference is grow or grows, treating the word "bacteria" as either a singular or plural noun. I was taught that when you are speaking of something like bacteria, which is innumerable, you treat it like a singular noun... but I am having a disagreement with someone very stubborn who doesn't believe me. What do you think?

Believe it or not, it's for a painting I'm going to do. I need words that either rhyme with art or have the word art within the word.

Here are the ones I've thought of but I'm sure there are more I've missed:

SMART
MART
CART
DART
PART
TART
START
WART
HEART

And, of course F ART, which I won't be using.

Can you guys come up with anything else?

Thank you, and Happy Holidays!
