I work with young adults in a workplace training program and believe that one of them is dyslexic based on his writing and test taking abilities. He refuses to admit to a problem but he is doing so poorly on his tests that he may fail the course. Are there any "generic" test-taking tips that I can pass along to him?

I have always made straight A's and lately I find myself making stupid mistakes on tests. I still pull off low B's on the tests but these are tests in that given what I have studied I should be making 100's. I dont know if the cause is simply not getting enough sleep. My dad says its because I rush. Is there such a thing as overstudying? I don't expect a single answer but I would appreciate your thoughts...thx.

Hey everyone, going tomorrow for my road test (Connecticut license) Does anyone know how rigorous this state is in making you practice parallel parking, 3 point turns, etc??? I'm a nervous wreck and any help is greatly appreciated.
I failed my written test before so I'm equally as nervous about that. There's always 2 answers that sound like the right one. Anyway, thanks.

I'm a freshman in my first semester at college. Right now, my goal is to go to law school after graduating with my bachelor's in either philosophy, psychology, english, history, sociology, and minor in possibly math. I don't know, i got another year to choose my major. All i know is that i'm anticipating a couple career changes because i want to live a dynamic life. So a little about myself: i have forced myself to become a more avid reader. I try to read 50 pages per day in any book. Not anything specific. I read more fiction with ol' ye english sometimes. I try to read more expository books in psychology than fiction. I was wondering, for the LSATs, what skills i should sharpen and make pat before taking the LSATs. What little things i can do every day to make myself become even stronger and more prepared for this exam? Would brain teasers work? Does reading help? Anything brain-stimulating? I need suggestions. Thank you for answering in advance. Thou hath me obliged to thee.

In my state they have something called the TAKS test. It is a big deal, 50 questions for 3 parts, and you have to write a 2 page composition to a quote. The only problem with that is teachers have to spend all of their teaching time, teaching how to pass the TAKS, not what might be the most important thing to learn. Teachers are so afraid they'll get in trouble if not enough of their students pass, they only concentrate on TAKS material. Do you think this is fair to the students?

I need the equation, the answer is suppose to be 17 and 4.
