In printing an article of 48000 words, a printer decides to use two sizes of type. Using the larger type, a printed page contains 1800 words. Using the smaller type, a page contains 2400 words. The article is allotted 21 full pages in a magazine. How many pages must be in smaller type?
I need the equation, the answer is suppose to be 17 and 4.
Anyone please?

s is the number of pages of smaller type.
Then 21-s is the number of pages of larger type.

2400s + 1800 (21-s) = 48000

17 pages of 2400 words is 40800 and 4 pages of 1800 words is 7200, when u add those 2 together u get the 48000 words so the answer would be 17 pages have to be in the small type.
