Hey everyone, going tomorrow for my road test (Connecticut license) Does anyone know how rigorous this state is in making you practice parallel parking, 3 point turns, etc??? I'm a nervous wreck and any help is greatly appreciated.
I failed my written test before so I'm equally as nervous about that. There's always 2 answers that sound like the right one. Anyway, thanks.

First and foremost...RELAX!! Easier said than done, I know, but it will make everything easier. When you get in the car, take a deep breath and then begin. The officer cannot fail you for taking your time, so just be patient and think everything through. Buckle up, adjust the seat and mirror, and start the car.
As far as parallel parking, they usually give you a very generous spot to park in, so if you know the basics, you should be fine.
3 point turns are a piece of cake, just go slow and remember to look over your shoulders while backing up.
More than anything, just take your time. Like I said, they won't fail you for being careful and aware of your surroundings. Just remember to breathe and you will do just fine.

You're kidding, right? No one fails the written test. You need to memorize the little booklet. All of the questions are straight out of the booklet. Immigrants who dont even speak English pass the written test!
The road test is just going to check you on the skills you need to drive on the road. If you are in good shape to drive safely onthe road, then you will be able to pass the test.

I'm not from Connecticut, but in MS we only went around a block. It wasn't bad. Just remember to do the speed limit, wear your seat belt and use blinkers.

Just relax, remeber your lessons and do your best. Those are the only real tips anyone can give. Good luck to you on your test tomorrow and remeber...relax, you'll do fine.

Practice driving and study the rule book.........there is no easy way aroud that. If you don't practice driving and you don't know the rules I DO NOT want you driving on the road with me or others you are dangerous.

study the manual , then study it some more, then re-study it.
