Seeing as you don't know what it means, you are surely not endowed with superior intelligence. The logical thing to do would be researching this question online as apposed to asking on yahoo. I find that few know what they are talking about when it comes to this issue. Some claim to have an IQ of 180, yet ask what that score means. 121 is a good score for your age. In comparison, my deviation IQ( my mental age using 16 as the divisor for my mental age as apposed to 13) is 164. This is just for comparative means, but seeing as you scored a 121, you are above about 84% of the population your age, and the population as a whole. Your IQ will peak between 18 and 20. It won't fall any time soon from that point, but as you reach your 50's and 60's, it will steadily fall. The thinking regression is much slower at 40 to the point that it isn't much of a difference maker. Comparatively, You have a mental age of 19.36 years according to the tests. An IQ of 150 is a mental age of 24 if you are 16. If you are 17, an IQ of 150 is the same mental age unless you are taking a rare test with an 18 divisor. IQ's above 130 are very noticeable when surrounded by people with average IQ's. IQ is a measure of potential to learn, so don't put to much faith in a #.

This is a High Average or Superior score, depending on the test you took. I don't believe online tests are statistically sound, so you can't interpret them the same way you can a real, standardized test.
If it was a real test (meaning not an online test), the average for every age is set to 100. So 121 for an 8 year old doesn't mean the same thing as a 121 for a 30 year old. (so you can't say that 8 year old is smarter than the 30 year old with the same score, they are expected to know different things).
Is that you scored better than 90 percent of the people who took the test.

I.Q. is always qualified by the experts who administer the tests. The results do not test everything and are only a rough guide as to intelligence. As a matter of fact, there's no universally accepted definition of exactly what the term "intelligence" means. But age is in the denominator, that is, it's factored in automatically. Just about all tests that measure I.Q. peg the average score as 100, so a score of about 120 is quite good. Different tests equate "genius" level, again with no distinct definition for the term, at 140 or 150. But these are all just rough guides, and should really be taken with a grain of salt.

The average score of IQ tests has increased in recent years from 100 to 115. 121 is above average. IQ has nothing to do with your age. IQ tests do not measure all meanings of "intelligence", such as wisdom. IQ scores are relative (like placement in a foot race), not absolute (like the measurement of a ruler).
The average IQ scores for many populations were rising during the 20th century: a phenomenon called the Flynn effect. It is not known whether these changes in scores reflect real changes in intellectual abilities. On average, IQ scores are stable over a person's lifetime, but some individuals undergo large changes.

Depends on the test.
If you have taken tickles test I have some rather bad news for you.
As the average Tickle IQ score is 120 in england, yet the REAL average IQ in england is about 100, so you can subtract about 15 points from you score...putting you at about 106+. (15 because I'm assuming that the average internet user is above average intelligence).
121 on a real IQ test is a rather high score, because 100 is average (though some would argue the actual world average IQ is between 90 and 95)
http://nicologic.free.fr/Intrus.htm here is an IQ test that was normed on mensa members. You may also be interested in the aptitude tests on that website to know your strengths and weaknesses.

yes with 121 u are ABOVE average. My son is a special ed child and gets tested proffessionally and they said the average IQ is 85-100!! So you are good to go, If you doubt wether you took the test appropriate for your age you could check with you school, they might also be able to test you which gives u the advantage that they can go over your score with you and tell you your strentghts and weaknesses

there is not any such element as an professional IQ try. Your IQ is in all probability between one hundred and five and 95 on account that 95% of the inhabitants fall in that selection. Mine too. IQ assessments lie on account that they are not even reproducible. I actually are turning out to be to be between a hundred thirty five and 85 looking on my temper, which score am i meant to have faith? you in all probability have vanity subject concerns as maximum persons have. Scoring severe on an IQ try might help you with that yet take a seem at your life and ask your self in case you have what it takes to be seen even smarter than basic. have you ever revealed correct medical papers, play countless gadgets, communicate many languages, have been given in the present day A's in college? in case you dont then dont subject, Discovery wont be making a documentary on the impressive lady who have been given 150 on an information superhighway try. I evaluate myself basic besides the fact that if i'm able to rather pass as clever on account that i'm a physicist and 10 years of journey with progressed arithmetic galvanize outsiders. yet i'm basically like all and sundry else and so are you.

IQ score has NOTHING to do with intelligence. Read up on the history - it originated from a test designed to test school performance of French schoolchildren. It's a load of crap, don't buy it.
