I just took my GMAT today, and I was very dissapointed in my score. Take in mind that I didn't do any practice exams before the exam. During the exam I took too long on the Quant section and ended up having to guess about 15 of the questions. I recieved a score of 510. Do you think I could improve by 200 points? Do you think that's a bad score out of 800? Any suggestions on how to improve?

I am studying for the CFP exam that I will take on Nov 17th and 18th. It is done over 2 days and covers a lot of information. I have a prep book that I've been using but I'm 5 days behind the schedule given in the book. I was a week and half behind before, but studied for about 8 hours the last week to finish all the topics and get to the point where I'm reviewing. Just for reference, the book suggests 3-4 hrs per day.

My brain was racing a million miles an hour yesterday, but now I feel like its shut down. What kinds of activities are good to do to rejuvinate your mind and get ready to learn the material?

Is there anything I can do to ensure that I can focus for the 4 hours at a time necessary for the test?

Should I focus more on reviewing the information or is it better for me to do more sample questions? I've invested a lot into passing this exam and there's a lot of pressure on me. You can read about it here to see what's involved if that woudl help:

I've taken quite a few online IQ tests, but never one administered by a psychologist. I've taken some valid ones online though, and one offered me membership to the International high IQ society. I'd LIKE to try for MENSA, how do I do this?

I've been hearing for years that the young people coming out of our public schools are poorly educated. Well, I am now beginning to believe it. It's what they call, "the dumbing down of America". I used to think that this was just a myth, but I guess it's true after all.

I am about to enroll in collge again after a couple of years of being out. On one of my applications, it asks for my ACT and SAT scores, and when both were taken. I know that informaiton is included in transcripts that will be sent, but I do need to put something on the application itself. I have NO IDEA when and what my scores were because it was so long ago. Does anyone have any idea how I can locate that information quickly?

On my local newspaper, almost everyday there are counts of 200-500 deaths per days to week of young to old Iraqians. Then, when an average 69 American soldiers by month die, there is this huge contraversies.

I'm not saying that an Iraqian or American should get more sympathy for his/her death, but why don't the newspaper write something opposing the deaths of the Iraqians and not only of Americans.

Both of deaths are on the newspapers but the deaths of fewer American soldiers (average 100 per month) creative more sadness and contraversy than the deaths of Iraqians kids to men?(200-1200 per month)
Do you agree with me on my opinions?

OKay, today i found out that i got a 63% on my math test. [im 13 doing 10th grade math in 7th grade] I also fond out 3days ago that i had a 78% on my midterm right? well i am 97% that im gonna get a C on my report card which i havent done in 4years! AHHHHH!!! How do I bring my grade up if my teacher dosent offer extra credit and that was the last test of the symester??
