I scored a 118 on an IQ test a few minutes ago, but as you are reading this it may be a few weeks ago, and I feel crappy because of it. People have always told me, "Oh your smart, wow!" but now this is a very bad, emotion drowser! I mean, come on, I have an what I believe to be a 4.8-4.9 G.P.A. the first week of 9th grade and I'm still trying to bring that up. Am I smart or not?

I have my theory test on Wednesday, I've been practising like a demon and I reckon I'm sorted for the theory bit, been passing the PC practise one every time. But I'm really struggling with the hazard perception bit. I just don't seem to recognise the hazard early enough or I think something is a hazard and it isn't.
Anyone got any tips? I'm bricking it!

We're allowed to buy our scantrons and take them home with us. Wondering if there were any types of cheats you can do at home for perfect scores before the test.

The Poem “Night” is written by Anne Hébert which is a very interesting and touching Poem. Basically, the context of the Poem is that a man is about to die and he is willing to do so. The mood of the poem is definitely very sad but this man feels relieved and calm because he is going to die and he thinks that he will find eternal peace. For instance, when he says, “I close my eyes” it means to me that he is ready to leave the world. I also think that when he says “I decipher no mysteries" it means his time has come and there is nothing strange about that because it is natural.
The speaker in this Poem the author itself, she is talking to herself, she describes in what kind of situation she is in and what she will do. The audience of the Poem, would be the night, the silence and the natural environment.
There are lots of poetic devices in Poem such as similes, metaphors and foreshadowing’s. For instance a simile, when it says “like a lighthouse” it describes the heart sending its beats. Moreover, it also states that at each flash of light he closes his eyes; to put it another way it means that at each heart beat he closes his eyes, this is a personification because it compares human qualities to inanimate objects.
Another example for a poetic device would be Hyperbole, such as when it says “I hear my hear sending its light and dark signals”. This is an over exaggeration which shows intensity of feelings. There is also an example of foreshadowing in the last stanza , when it says “I close my eyes”. In other words gave us an idea that the Poem would come to an end and that the man would slowly die now.
To sum up, the theme of the poem is that sometimes we all fell bad about things that happen, however we should approach it differently. In fact, the best way of dealing with this kind of problems is that we should sit down and talk to someone about the problem.
In brief, this a very sad and dramatic poem where feelings are tossed all over the place. I really liked this poem and I would especially recommend it to other teenagers.

The top 'of the table. The boys 'of my school.' The grief 'of death.' The pain 'of loss.' In all these adj. pharses 'Of + noun phrase' makes an adj. phrase qualifying the noun preceding these words. It, in another way, would mean: The table's top. My school's boys, etc. where 'The table's' and 'My school's' qualify the forthcomings nouns

Thus, "The Inheritance of Loss' will imply Loss's Inheritence, and that is not the intended meaning of the author. 'Loss' cannot qualify 'Inheritance.: Therefore, in my earnest opinion that is based on the aforesaid rule of introducing adj. phrase, the name :'The Inheritance of Loss' is grammatically wrong and somewhat jarring.

I earnestly and humbly request teachers and grammarians to send me their precious remarks.
