What is the difference between choices B and E:

it's a dangling participle. the subject of the adjective "famished" is josh, not josh's challenge, so "josh" alone has to come after the comma. it's a commonly overlooked mistake, but it can lead to really funny sentences.

B just sounds a little awkward. You wouldn't write a sentence like that, would you?
