On my local newspaper, almost everyday there are counts of 200-500 deaths per days to week of young to old Iraqians. Then, when an average 69 American soldiers by month die, there is this huge contraversies.

I'm not saying that an Iraqian or American should get more sympathy for his/her death, but why don't the newspaper write something opposing the deaths of the Iraqians and not only of Americans.

Both of deaths are on the newspapers but the deaths of fewer American soldiers (average 100 per month) creative more sadness and contraversy than the deaths of Iraqians kids to men?(200-1200 per month)
Do you agree with me on my opinions?

Thanks all of you for your support. I may be able to write to the newspaper but I'm only 14 yet my best friend's mother is the editor so that might make a good point.

And, when you say "we", you mean Americans but my local newspaper is in Asia! Ofcourse in AMerican there will be sadness for AMericans death but I'm talking about here...

Well I'd imagine that one of the larger reasons that you don't see an overflowing support for the deaths of Iraqi people (pretty sure that "Iraqians" isn't the proper way of saying that) is that they are directly responsible for the deaths of Americans. Often times the sympathy for our enemies is lost when they're a little preoccupied with killing us. Also, do you really think that they're going to care if a newspaper runs a story saying "aw, we're sorry we killed you, before you could kill us."

Finally someone who asked a sensible question!

I totally agree! there are soooooo many children and old dying in Iraq and the press or shall i say the stupid government would like to take it OUT of the media's eye so that its citizens dont think he's a total monster (which he is!)...

its not only in america that this is hapening in, it happens in Britain too. im from England, Uk and no one here even mentions the Iraq innocents that die.

Dont like to say it but the same thing us happening about Muslims too, whenever a 'Muslim' does something like campaign against the war or something the media makes him/her into a terorist. yet they fail to mention non-muslim terrorists like Robert Cottage, 49, of Talbot Street, Colne (England, UK) who was arrestedfor possession of an explosive substance.
Officers claim that their find is the largest haul of chemicals of its kind discovered.
The case has attracted little or NO publicity as the national media continue to focus on Muslims.

if they were to SHOW the innocent deaths and elderly in Iraq the Citizens would turn on there government so they cant have that!! this war is illegal, they found no Weapons and there bleeding there oil dry!

And there is soooooooo much evidence to suggest that Bush 'won' the elections by faking the votes. so many countys voted for the opposite team yet for some reason Bush was elected. this dopey pathetic puppet. yeh right!

i would also like to add that there was a documentry done about a year ago on british and america politicians and mp's and what ever you call the people working for the government... and guess what??? out of over 300 of them only ONE politicians son was in Iraq for the war!! Just ONE...... they use there people!!! and these stupid people/'soldiers' cant even see that they are being used!!!!!!!

Yes darling I do agree with you but honey remember to sell publication of news paper they just do that. Send Bush or Tony to front line and I will bet you anything both will wet their pants and runaway like a scared mouse. Both of them are wrong but what one can say. People like us chosen them to be our leader and we have to take whatever both do like good or bad honey. Dont be sad honey thats life.

you need to write your feelings to the paper, its not their place to read your mind and print it, you are real and your opinion counts , so write to the opinion page it might be nice to read some thing real FOR ONCE.

Yep, American life seems to be worth more than an Iraqi life.

Well, Americans care more about their own victims, and that is natural. That's all.
