I got a credit card as soon as I hit college campus at 18. I had no real understanding of what would happen if I didn't pay the bill properly, and I quickly found myself in a debt that I couldn't get out of. Now, at 28, I'm still paying the stuff off. Could our schools PLEASE stress the importance of financial responsibility and the true damage that can occur? The credit card companies should be responsible for paying for these courses, just like the tobacco companies are required to contribute to the education of the ramifications of smoking. What do you guys think?

I read recently that Autism is unusually common in Scotland. Does anyone have any sites to confirm that information or thoughts on the subject? Thanks!

I work with an autistic boy who is now 10 years old. He developed 'normally' (but still a little behind his peers) until the age of 4 when he started regressing until her completely lost his ability to speak at all. is this normal for autistic children to regress that much?

Before you jump the gun at this one.I am 47 and had LD.
In the 1960s when I was having trouble in school,we talked
to a child psychiatrist and he said that very statement,he
just said I was not right. In sixth grade when I was doing poorly this unreasonable teacher said I was not applying myself and baloney and said that above statement.
What is my question?
Has anyone ever got told that? got told having a learning
disabilty is cop out for not trying? educators use to say
things like that long ago.Would they get away with saying
these kind of things today?
