I am required to do a business letter for my boss's insurance firm. I have very little experience in writing (I'm only 19, so no college degree-yet). I feel lucky to even have been offered this job because of my lack of experience in this field. Even though I'm not all that "qualified", I still believe I can do a good business letter....I just need some good advice, lol. What are the basic fundamentals you need for writing a business letter? We're sending this letter out to all major business in our area to convince them that our practice is is the cream of the crop (in so many words). However, being new to the job I don't have that much knowledge about the business and naturally I am afraid, lol. I just need some direction.....please someone with a degree in journalism respond-lol.

I am in 8th grade and I am 13 have wanted to become a marine biologist since 5th grade. So I was wondering how I would start my studies, what colleges would be best for that major and if I could start to study now in my grade somehow, how much it would pay, what kinds of animals and plants i would be working with, where i could work and any other information on being a marine biologist. I am very interested in symbols and there origin. One that has fascinated me is the Nazi SS Death's head symbol. I can find plenty abou the SS but I want only to know about were the Nazis came up with the Death Head symbol. How old is that symbol and what are its pre-nazi origin and how has it evolved.

What are the standards to get into NHS at your high school, such as GPA wise? I'm in IB and my scores are lower than those who are in AP, and I believe I should be in it, but I'm not. I'm in the top 10 percent, and there are around 4000 students at my school, but only few students are in honor society. Do you think that a 4.0 GPA requirement is too high?
