how do you teach adult to differentiate reality from wishful thinking?

I am a 15 year old sophmore to be. When I was a freshman, other people were already taking the SAT! What is it, when is the right time to take it, should I worry about it right now, what do I do if I should take it, and MORE!! I can't think of anything else to ask. THANKS!! <33

ok so a few months ago we had to pick a lanuage we wanted to learn in high school

we HAVE to take a language class twice.
like french 1 then french 2
that HAS to be done by the time u graduate from highschool.
its part of the high school curriculum that we pick one lanuage

the choices were:
french
german
spanish

well i chose french cuz i've been taught spanish since like 3rd grade or so till 8th grade except 7th cuz it wasn't in our curriculum

i wanna do something in the medical field like doctor or pharmacist.

do you think its ok i won't take spanish in highschool at all?
cuz i've been taking spanish in elementary and 8th grade.
as long as i remember i've been taught spanish so i'd say i know spanish a little and i don't think i would need spanish to be a doctor

I'm going to be a junior this upcoming school year(19 year old female) with 94 units completed by the end of fall 2007. I currently go to a Cal State that has a crappy rep for journalism(sadly it has no accredation) and I'm minoring in creative writing. I was going to transfer to Michigan State but because I have completed so much already I figured I'd wait until grad school to move out of state. Besides all the info(that was probably useless), I wanted to know what I should do before I graduate to sort of boost my skills and resume for a possible broadcast career in sports journalism. Details would be great. I love sports, but I wouldn't call myself an expert. Internships? Tips? ANYTHING! :) I just feel like I'm going through a 'major' crisis!

Hi, i have always been better at english than math. I am a very good speller but math and reading comprehension is tough for me. I have noticed that alot of people are good at math but can't do english or spell very well...is there any connection here? Does this mean my "logic" skills are weaker since math is based on logic? Any advise would be appreciated.

I'm totally in the dark about how it all works. I cant find a school that offers an assoc. degree in Theology; only a bachelors degree. Yet, I must have the first to get the second, right? can you offer some advice, I'd really appreciate it. What must I do?

I recently moved from the Philippines to the US. I can't speak English as fluently as the other citizens here in the States. I'm afraid that they'll make fun of me because:

1. I may pronounce some words wrong
2. I look different than most people here.

I desperately need tips on fitting in at a new school. My old school was an All-Girls-School so I don't have much experience with boys. I really want to make a good impression to the other students. Also, do you have any tips on finding your classroom? Your help will be really appreciated!

I've noticed somethig, you know the "we use ten percent of our brains" statistic of course you do, I was wondering why of all things, one hundred percent of all of all human beings on the planet use a perfectly even percentage of their brains, that's just suspicious, I haven't seen any study regarding that, nor have I heard of the scientist who might have made that original quote, it's uncanny and when you think about it stupid.

There s also the irksome 90 or whatever percent of people fear public speaking more than death, don't even try to blame rounding on that one. I've never seen an official study on that one.

Those are just too widely quoted and until now, almost completely unchallenged to be wrong. Right?
