I keep reading yahoo answers on people interested in this field. Does it pay good? I personally find it boring....but my friend wants to be one. I hope he makes it....I hear school is very competitive though.

most appear to be arrogant and uncaring. i mean you do pay big money for a doc's visit to receive lousy svc. so what's the best way to find a good doc & communicate w/him or her. i don't want someone chatty but someone who knows his job and will listen and explain and provide a good treatment and let you know how this will work and that everything will be fine; someone competent and caring (that won't treat you like a number)

Ok, it's not as bad as it sounds! I really like being good at stuff...I'm a bit competitive. Sometimes I wish I could be the best at something! I'm really smart, but I'm in class of very smart people. One of my bests friends scored in the top 98 percent of the nation as a sophmore on her PSAT's. And I'm a good singer but so is everyone else in my choir. I'm good at lots of things, but never good enough. I guess I'm just having a pity party but oh well. I know that God loves me and he gave me the talents I have for a reason. I just have to work to do the best I can!

I want to further my education online, but don't know which ones future employers are going to recognize as a true college. There are so many that are nationally accreditted, but does that mean that employers have to recognize that colleges diplomas?

OK, so I am 26, and have now been going to college off & on for 8 yrs. The problem is I just can't seem to find a field that I want to commit the next 40 years of my life to. I can't even commit to something a week from now. Does anyone else feel this way? All of my friends are either graduated, or have no intention of going back to school. Some one told me its my generation...we're all a bunch of ADD ridden commitment phobes, but that seems like a really lame cop out to me. What do u think?
