she has only been to school at the most,maybe 3mo.(if that),since the beginning of this school yr. as being a 7th gr. in jr. high! we've talked to the counselour&the principal, i just don't know what to do!

I'm halfway through the second term, but I don't think I can go on anymore. I also studying Spanish which I enjoy, but I don't know what to do (it's joint honours). I also failed my winter exams. Although Russian is hard, I sort of enjoy it, but after 16 hours a week, it's so tedious. We're meant to be A-Level now, but my teacher says I'm not even GCSE (don't know what these are called in america, but you take GCSEs at 16, and A-Levels at 18).. I'm meeting with the head of department on wednesday, but if anyone has any opinions or queries about this, please say and help me! The options are: Keep doing my course, Hispanic Studies, Russian Studies, or Spanish and Portuguese. Discuss!!! Thanks a lot.

There are memory techniques out there for remembering long lists and stuff like that but I really need to know how to use these techniques to remember different languages with tones in them. Like japanese, abiru can mean 4 or 5 different things and I can remember this no problem thanks to the Mnemonics but there is a big problem as I can only remember this to take and beer but it also means other things depending on which part you pronunce high and which part you pronunce low. Is there any way to remember it using the techniques??

I just couldnt get to sleep tonight - and even though I missed two days last week, wouldnt it be justified I stay home from school today, because if I go, I would end up falling asleep anyway probably, and getting in trouble, or just not doing my work at all - so can you help me come up with some good ideas to tell my parents that I'm staying home?
