I am candidate for section leader next year in my high school marching band. And right now people arent looking at my like I feel I should be looked at. And my current section leader doesnt think I have social skillz to be a section leader. I am right now #2 best trombone player in my school. And Best marcher in the band. What can I do to improve my "people" skillz?

I am thinking of getting my Bachelors degree online. Is there anyone out there who has done this or tried distance education. How did you like it, were there any drawbacks for you and any other info would be of much help. I am looking to do this soon and I have researched it throughly, but an outside opinion from others who have done it would help me out alot.

I need help doing my course work, im doing it about authoritative leaders, and i need the good points of Bin Ladens leadership and the bad points for example at the moment for good I have:
•Complete Control
•Able to build a terrorist group followed by millions world wide
•Safety of people in Afghanistan
BAD POINTS:
•No stability
•Seen as a threat from powerful Countries
•No development

the books in the collection are hard back booksand they were published by dean & sons of london. the books are at least 50years old probably more. the books in particular are little men, good wives and jos boys.

why do people call the United states "America"?

some people may say.. because we are United states of AMERICA
but mexico is also called
United AMERICAN States of mexico.(or something like that :S). by the way im not mexican..
..

Look at the map.. and you'll find North america,South america,central america.. = AMERICA?

its an stupid question but i've been wondering this since I was a kid!
