i guess if it affects ther person that bad.. and they cant really talk well.. then i dont see why not

That is highly unlikely. The stress of appealing such a claim would probably only make your stutter worse. Get some speech therapy and accept that stutters are not seen as a fundable disability in education.

Although I'm pretty late for the party, you can apply for DSAs without applying for a student loan. I would say that if you think your stammer is that severe, and that the money would honestly go towards improving your stammer, go for it. If you're seeing this as free money I wouldn't advise you to.

I too have a stammer and are applying for the DSAs, I got evidence from my the speech therapist at my school and a lady who ran a two week course that I was once on, you should get evidence from them too. You should definitely go about getting some too, there may be a waiting list for speech therapy on the NHS, but you probably could find it online. There's also a section on the application form which asks 'describe your disability', which you may have to exaggerate, I wouldn't imagine that they give out loans to anything but severe.
