I have been schooled at both public and private schools and I can tell you first hand that my grades were higher in private school (with uniforms) and I did concentrate more on my studies because I was not concerned at all in other students' clothing, obviously because they were all the same....Why can't the US educational system pass a law stating all children must wear uniforms. Our students will concentrate more on their studies rather than worrying about what other students are wearing and teasing ones who can't afford $100 for a pair of sneakers or $150 for a pair of jeans..I had 5 blue sweaters and 4 pair of pants all for under $100 for all 9 pieces and wore them for 3 years.

AP Bio, AP Geopolitical Economics, AP English Lit,and AP Spanish are some of my classes. I'm taking AP U.S History online, and Honors Pre-Calc, Honors Physics, Journalism 2, and a required elective are some classes that I am taking at school. I am involved in Key Club, NHS, tennis, and the newspaper staff. My friends are telling me I have gone overboard. What do ya think?
P.S. I want to get into a college like NYU or Princeton.

I was a normal, fairly popular student in my school until this past year (my junior year). In May I had diarhea, and it was the watery type and I crapped all over my pants in class. I played it cool, trying to act like everything was normal, but then everyone started to smell something until everyone became dead set on me. I was frozen with fright and I decided to make a run for the bathroom after my teacher asked me what was wrong. When I began to run the **** slid down my leg and everyone saw and howled with laughter. I have been the laughing stock ever since of not only the school but the town as well. My parents don't want to move , and it's the only local school. What should I do. No one has talked to be since unless they were teasing me. This is a complete nightmare for me. I'm considering suicide.

Today, I was really hyper in my trigonometry class and started complimenting myself. Most of the stuff I say is true, and I truly believe what I say. Unfortunately, people do not appreciate it all and just avoid me. How can I keep the comments to a minimum without losing the enjoyment of telling everybody that I am truly the best?
