Hi, I am a physician so I am quite familiar with the pre-med/medicine route. My advice would be this: before you embark on this long and difficult adventure, please ask yourself the real reasons you have chosen this path. Often people choose medicine because of the perceived prestige, the money, or they think it will make their parents proud. Maybe, it is a desire to do honorable work with limitless opportunities for growth. Often in the frenzied race to get in and advance, these underlying motivations aren't really examined. Please don't make this mistake! Otherwise it will be too late to turn back. This is truly the decision of a lifetime. I think in the end one should pursue more than a career but a "calling." You may have not discovered what that is at this point and that's ok. University is just the place to explore and discover. Whatever you choose though, please look deep down in your soul and you may find your true passion is actually right there to see. I hope this helps and good luck.

well the most important thing is that you should always attend class and listen to what the teachers say because what the teachers lecture is mostly on the test and if you don;t understand somehting then ask, ummm listen if you are falling behind go to a teacher and ask them for help because they like that and they know that you are trying so they will give you extra points. Ummm all I can say this is be yourself and don't ever ever let anyone push you around. Good luck.

Drop that nervousness.
It'll really do a number on you.
Do not go to the one you've listed. If you're like this it means you're not ready.
You have to really check them out in order to obtain training you will need in life.
Don't let them act like they're doing you a favor, either. Audit like crazy and leave the state if you have to in order to get what you're lookinfg for.
Don't get seduced into going someplace because it seems glamorous.
Besides, what do you want to major in?
E-mail me if you want. I majored in fine arts, though.

Going away from home can be challenging, but stay true to yourself. Stay focused and organized with classes. This is your first test at being an adult and good way to grow up.
Mainly, have fun and be safe.
