If so, give me input...are you an officer, whats yours like, do you have much participation, what kind of fundraisers are you doing and what is really working? I'm starting my 4th year PTO (2nd year President).

You're not getting a flood of responses, are you? I guess PTO/PTA mothers don't have much extra time for relaxing at the computer.
I became involved in my kids' elementary school PTA because the right person asked me to do a job that was so perfect for me that I couldn't say no. And even after 3 years of mixed feelings about watching 10% of the people do 110% of the work, when the same person asked me to do something for the middle school PTA, I was once again unable to say no. It's that personal appeal that makes all the difference.
