Hi! I am currently writing a reseach paper and about my findings in an experiment about whether a person is able to detect a brother sister pair from a couple. Do you think that copying someone's homework, then getting caught before you turn it in is plaigarism? I t was math homework, by the way. I always thought that plaigarism occurred when you steal someone's work, then pass it off (pass the homework in) and not cite it. What if you didn't pass it in yet?

The problem says "put the following numbers into the standard form of scientific notation:

234 x 10 ^-3"

The answer said 34 x 10 ^-1
How on earth did they get that answer? Why did they get rid of the 2?
