Immigrants began to come to this land in the 1500's, to seek a better life. They saw it as an opportunity to build 'new and better' lives. They were brave and freedom-loving people, willing to endure anything to be free and have a home. It was their spirit of pride and cooperation that helped build America to the fine nation it is today. read more at the website

All you __s holes who wants to knock America, if you live here then get the heck out, we don't want you. No one forces
you to live here. I am proud to be an American and you so should you. I don't need to tell you this, just look around and see all the freedom that we have. Here are the three main reasons.
1. We are free and will fight for it. I spent 3 years in Veitnam to prove it.
2.. We have freedom of Religion, government does not tell us how we can worship. Jesus is Lord and so be it.
3. We are free to elect anyone we want to, if you do not like our government then blame yourself for putting them in office...

America is the land of the free and the home of the brave because (use this for paragraph one) we give our citizens the unalienable rights (life, liberty, pursuit of freedom) that were denied to us before the Revolution. Furthermore (use this for paragraph two) we help one another in times of war and need and are brave enough to stand up in a crisis to help others. Lastly (use this for paragraph three) we are courageous enough to sacrifice our lives for freedom for our country.
"I regret that I have but one life to lose for my country." - Nathan Hale, during the Revolution.

America is the land of the free because it lives based off of the principalities of democracy in a republic. It is based on a representative government through which the people have control over their actions. Also, America has been involved in countless policies to support and enhance democracy from Afghanistan to China. Furthermore, It is a melting pot of diverse cultures through which it gains reputation for its diversity. The different ethnicities and cultures can live in peace.

Land of the free: We sure felt "free" invading America back in the 15th century and forcefully claiming the Native American "land"
Home of the Brave: We have made Iraq our "Home" and try to play it off as being "Brave" when really we are being stupid assholes and meddling in another country's problems.
DAMN that's clever.

1. We don't put people in prison who deserve it...celebs.
2. We are free to do what we want to ourselves in terms of harm as long as we don't harm society...for instance you can be drunk at home, but not driving where you can kill another person...it is called liberty not freedom.
3. Many of our ancesters fought w/out hesitation to protect liberty and provide a society for generations to come where its members are able to govern their own life choices.
4. It is illegal to discriminate based on color, race, status, age, gender, etc...protecting diversity, hence a country that is free for all...not saying all the individuals in this country are law abiding.

We fought for our freedom and won. We wrote a good constitution and we follow it. We have a good governmental system with checks and balances and the people respect it and follow its orders. We have free speech and elections and we can vote the bums out if they turn out to be bums.
