Homework Help - July 2007

everytime i have to write a paper for a class, especially english, i get really nervous/anxious/scared since it seems like a big task for me. This causes me to get writers block, which furthers my anxiety because it will take me like forever to write a paper (it literally takes me the whole day to write a 4 page essay)! Grr RR. does anyone have any useful suggestions?

Im writing an essay in which the topic is, apathy is the greatest enemt to our society. I need 1 more example for it. I have 2, one is that we do not have enough concern for the war in Iraq and the second one is that we do not have enought concern for global warming. What else can I do? So basically the topic is; if no one cares about the world and what happens in it, wil the world end. i need 1 more example to supprt that

kathy is babysitting mr. & mrs. anderson's daughter, nicole. they are paying her $2 per second. if the couple leaves 6:00 pm and be back by 11:30 pm. how much does she gets paid?

How would you factor a^2 - (x + 1)^2 as a difference of two squares? The only pattern I know is the a^2 - b^2 thing, and I tried looking online but I could only find factoring when there was only one variable.

I also have questions like "(c - d)^2 - e^2" and then multiplied out ones like "a^2 - 2ab + b^2 - 4."

Is there any simple way to do this that I'm completely blanking out on? Any help or step by step instructions would be greatly appreciated :) Thanks! ♥♥

i hav 2 make a poster on how electricity is generated. I can't find anything that tells me how it is generated from wind. It needs to be a detailed diagram and have an explanation ( i can expand upon). please don't tell me to do my own wrk as it is the first tym i hav asked. and i am reli stuck and couldn't find anyfing on it. Also my teacher has been reli unfair. i was ill on the day it was set and so were some others - she is making me do it 4 2mo and not them!
