Electricity is generated from wind and water power by means of turbines. U have seen pix of wind farms? Like 3 bladed windmills on towers. The turbine is at the centre of the blades. As the blades turn, they turn magnets inside the generator, which affect a wire coil and so generate electricity. I 'm a bit hazy on exactly how a turbine works, but that's the general idea. For more details, try wind farms or turbines, but I hope this helps.
