No, if you can take it and do well, you can take more advanced math classes later on in high school. You may be able to take AP (Advanced Placement) classes. If you do well, many colleges will count that for credit towards your degree, and you won't have to take that class in college. That saves you money, and gets you that much closer to your degree. A friend of my son will have enough AP classes in high school that she will almost be considered a sophomore on the first day of college class. Depending on the school you go to, that could save you anywhere from $5000 to over $20,000. I'd say thats great for your college record, AND your wallet!

If you do well in the course then it will only help you. I took Algebra in 9th grade, then was required to take it again in college. If I hadn't taken it before in high school when the teachers had real person to person time with me then I wouldn't have done as well in the college course.

It relies upon the place you're interpreting at. i'm 11 years previous in seventh grade at an extremely sturdy midsection college (public) and something below an A could be unacceptable. On checklist enjoying cards, I have been given A+s for each thing apart from online Finance, wherein I have been given an A. i became right into a wreck!! I cried for like, an hour perchance.

you can you homeschool programs that give you both a highschool credit and a college credit...thats what I'm doing :)

No, I took algebra my first year of college. Algebra might not even be required when you get to college, it depends on what you want your major to be.
