Im writing an essay in which the topic is, apathy is the greatest enemt to our society. I need 1 more example for it. I have 2, one is that we do not have enough concern for the war in Iraq and the second one is that we do not have enought concern for global warming. What else can I do? So basically the topic is; if no one cares about the world and what happens in it, wil the world end. i need 1 more example to supprt that

How did "our society" become THE WORLD and it's END??? WOW!!! Talk about expanding upon a thesis!!!
How about world hunger? That seems to go along with your other prissy ideological subjects.

What about, plainly, "We just don't care about each other enough."
You could put it at the end. It would really make a bang of an ending following Iraq and global warming. I think your teacher would like it, too, because you would have thought deeper than the things we can picture. You will have thought about apathy in human beings.
You could talk about how marriages are falling apart, which harm kids, and kids are our generation, etc. We don't notice enough in our world and we don't pay enough attention to what's happening.

what about: no one cares for each other?
we live in a socitey where we WANT anything and everything for ourselves no matter what it costs other people. People want things done fast and efficient (think of the way technology consumes our lives) and in the process we forget to slow down and realize how good we have it
though i disagree w/ your global warming - i think the majority of the stuff concerning global warming is just an attempt at government to sidestep more pressing issues of society. but that's just me
