On the whole, sexual reproduction is definitely more beneficial as it brings about a change in the characteristics of the offsprings(children). The offsprings may get adapted to the environment and survive better with their new traits. The downside of sexual reproduction may be that its chance of incurring is lower to asexual reproduction. Moreover, sexual reproduction generally takes a longer time to complete. Time spent on finding an opposite sex mate and for the sperm to fertilise the egg( which do not always happen).

It means you will get no sleep for a lot of years and have very little time or money. But if things go well you eventually get grandchildren that you gladly shower with money and volunteer to lose sleep to keep.
