1. What qualities made the pigs good leaders. Where they lacking any qualities? Write how the pigs do or do not qualify as good leaders. use specific examples from the novel.

2. Give examples of peer pressure used in the novel. Pay close attention to Boxer and the sheep.

3. Discuss the importance of education as it evolvs during the course of the novel. What is the importance between education and indoctrination?

4. Explain why an enemy or scapegoat is necessary for the animals. Why does the enemy have to change? If there were no enemy what would that mean for any society, including the animal farm?

5. Why did orwell use the names he did for the characters? How do thy fit the characters?

DOES ANYBODY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT NEON TETRA FISH? YOU SEE, I AM DOING A RESEARCH PROJECT ON THE ABSTRACT BEHAVIOR OF FISH. I WILL BE KEEPING ONE IN THE LIGHT AND ONE IN THE DARK AND ONE ALTERNATING DAILY. USING THIS METHOD I NEED TO TURN MY CLOSET INTO A SCIENCE LAB.
