Are you asking how the poles of the spindle in "an animal cell like a whitefish egg" differ from the poles of the spindle in a cell of the onion root tip?

If you are --
Animal cells have asters around the centrioles; those are at the poles of the spindle.
Plant cells don't have asters or centrioles.
