Anyone good with basic calc? I'm stuck on these two types of problems.

Find the extrema and points of inflection of the function:
f(x) = (e^x + e^(-x))/(2)

I got to the first derivative, giving me (2(e^x - e^(-x)))/(4) = 0... and I'm stuck trying to solve for x.

Then there's:
int( (e^(1/x^2))/(x^3))

I just have no idea where to go from there. I used u-substitution, but I can't find du.

I have to write an outline for a persuasive essay, in the outline I have to prove that hte death penalty is cruel and unusual, to prove that it violates the bill of rights clause, cruel and unusual. i forgot and it isn't in my book...i got to answer this question:

a board is leaning against a building so tht the top of the board reaches a height of 18 ft. the bottom of the board is the ground 4 ft away from the wall. what is the slope of the board as a positive number?

I get straight A's in school and i'm very proud of my self and all, but sometimes I get so frustrated cause the teachers give to much homework and other things to do like to study for a test. Well sometimes I feel like my head is gonna blow with all this school work and I don't want to stop doing what im doing right now cuz than i'll get bad grades. Basically, I need help. The questions will most likely involve a diagram of a triangle, rectangle, parallelogram, or other shape. Then, he'll give me a fact, like angle A is congruent to angle C and sides B and D are parallel. Then he'll ask me to prove that two things are similar or congruent. I just made those facts up to give an example, that's not the actual question.
What I'm trying to ask is what theorems, rules, words, principles and things like that should I know in order to do well on this test?

Tomorrow, Floridas 8th graders have to take this test called the Florida Writes. We are required to write an essay given a prompt- either expository or persuasive.
Does anyone possibly know the type of topics they will give us to write about?
Also, does anyone know of good websites that give tips on persuasive and expository writing.

I'm making a warren bridge out of newspaper for a project. Which glue is best, so it can make it slightly flexible but sturdy?

I know Gorilla Glue and epoxy glue aren't very good by the looks of some of the other bridges in the past years.
