I'm making a warren bridge out of newspaper for a project. Which glue is best, so it can make it slightly flexible but sturdy?

I know Gorilla Glue and epoxy glue aren't very good by the looks of some of the other bridges in the past years.

Is Wood Glue strong enough or do you think Elmer's glue will work?

I'm rolling the newspaper into tubes. I really hope this is going to work. It has to weight 1.1 lbs and hold up at least 11 lbs.

I made something similar when I was in school and I soaked my newspaper strips in liquid starch and the used just regular Elmers glue.I still have it and that was 20 years ago.

It's the fold and consistency of the paper which make it sturdy and for a good hold you can use hot glue or even super glue.
