i would probably be afraid of anything new and different and not want to make myself unique because i if i grew up in a place like that, everything being homogeneous would seem normal,
the same way that a lot of Americans think the treatment of women according to the Hindu religion and society in India isn't fair though (most of) the people in India look at it as just a way of life, including some of the women (though parts of India are becoming Westernized that's not my point)
you have to look at it from both sides,
in the science-fiction novel, War of the Worlds, as the main character is witnessing the aliens eat a human he thinks its disgusting, but, he also observes that an intelligent rabbit would think our carnivorous eating habits strange to the herbivore rabbit

Your view of the world would be that everything is the same and that all people look like those on the island. Your life would be ignorant of a world outside of an island and you wouldn't even know it.

you will be out of challenge, having all the same will limit you inter personal experiences. Having all the same will make impossible the social development and also will produce a mental lethargy.

One would be eccentric in thinking, especially where their culture is concerned. If one has to visit another country he/she may criticize that country's culture, belief and also way of life.
