if u had to write about how a ladybug got her spots, how would she get them?

im writing this story for a kindergartner about how this ladybug gets her spots because she didnt have them before and i need an idea for how she got them.

u should write about how a ladybug gets her spots like all her friends had spots but she didnt, then once she has them she doesnt want to be like everyone else and wants to be herself. you should have it where she wishes for them and in the end u can say becareful what u wish for.

Since children of that age don't understand the concept of how short an insect's life is... here's what I came up with:

The ladybug was flying through the air one day and accidentally flew inside this house. She was scared but heard soft music coming from a bedroom. She quietly flew into the room where the music was coming from and discovered a beautiful, sleeping baby. She landed on the window sill and quietly sat listening to the music and the quiet breaths from the baby. Years went by and as the child grew up, the ladybug and the child became friends. (progress the story ahead by skipping bulks of time in age.) . Then one day the child grew up and had to start school. The ladybug was sad to see the child go, but the ladybug had to move on to a new home. Finally the day came when the child started kindergarten (further being focused on the childrens' ages that this story is for) and the ladybug sat on the windowsill as the child boarded the school bus. The child turned around one last time and blew the ladybug a kiss, magically making little black spots appear on the ladybug. The ladybug felt very loved and she proudly calls them "little kisses."

I feel bad doing you HW for you, but I have a good idea.

What if ladybug's were origanally black, then the other bugs made fun of her or somthing so she blushed a lot and it stuck, but she still has spots of her origanal color?
