need to write paragraph with 8 sentenses about " the number of automobile accidents in my town can be reduced."

The number of automobile accidents in my town can be reduced by paying more attention to the road. While driving in the city forget about cellphone in your bag. When driving need to have 2 hands on the wheel. While driving always need to look at the road sighs. have to drive without hostility. While driving never take eyes of the road. When the weather is bad atay at home or need to alow down. need to take some courses for drving more safety. Also need to add more trffic lights.

Tomorrow I have a BIG english makeup test...I didnt do so well on my last one - no one did. And I just dont seem to understand it. i have written a poem have a look at it and please tell me what you think.the title is A Boat.
It is the darkest night of the year.
You are in a boat with your best friend;
You’ve know each other since you were born
You love each other so much that you promise
No matter what happens, you will always stay together.
Deep woods and dark night hug you
And only God knows what blood-thirsty and hungry animals are out there
You both keep on paddling with these haunting thoughts
But feel warm and comfort from each other’s presence.
Everything seems to go against you,
Even the wind does not seem merciful tonight.
Then your friend says,
"Can you paddle alone for a while? My arms are really tired."
This is your reply," my arms are tired too,
If we paddle together for five more minutes,
I am sure we will reach our destination."
Your friend replies," I can not move my arms for a second,
And you are talking about five minutes!"
You can sense the edginess in your friend's voice
But reply in a very calm manner, "if we try to co-operate,
And not be selfish we can cross this lake very soon".
This makes your friend even more furious and she starts to argue.
Then you both end up yelling and shouting at each other.
In all that chaos you both realize that your paddles have fallen deep in the lake
… Perhaps you will soon loose control of your boat!
But instead of finding any solution to rescue yourselves
You start blaming each other for all this trouble.
You both are so furious that you would rather swim to your destination
Than sit with one another.
You become so unaware of your surroundings and yourselves
That in a blink of an eye your boat drowns
And you die.

And without it I fail the class. Here's the paper I am doing on Reforming Welfare, I didn't get alot of time to do it and I turned it in but the teacher thought it was terrible and sent it back to me to redo, and graded a 25/100. Here's the paper...

"Reforming Welfare
Welfare reform is the changing policy to reduce dependence on welfare. Reforming welfare must be done."

Now I just need a really good thesis on that, I couldn't fit the whole paper on this.

"The ways we do the welfare reform is by making the welfare recipients work for their money. We rehabilitate them into work."

And that's the end. And I need a good Conclusion with a restatement of the Thesis. Because, obviously, my Thesis wasn't good enough.

ok i got this homework and i'm totally stuck... it says divide the word into parts but the example they give make it seem like they're dividing it by syllables-- but i know thats not what im supposed to do.
Directions: Divide each of the following words into its prefix, root, and suffix. Some of the words may lack a prefix, a suffix, or both. The first word has been done for you.
