A square is a geometric figure consisting of a convex quadrilateral with sides of equal length that are positioned at right angles to each other. Therefore, the side length of the square is equivalent to the square root of the area of the square. Since the value of the square root of any number is a constant, then squares of equivalent area must have sides of equal length.

The link below will give you more information on squares.

If they are squares then yes because squares must have sides of equal lengths. If they have same area then they are the same squares.

Not true for other rectangles though. If A=100, you could have dimensions of:
10x10 P=40
5x20 P=50

confident. If 2 squares have an identical section, then they must have an identical perimeter. 2 rectangles could have an identical section with diverse lengths of components to form the fringe, yet squares are particular. they must have 4 equivalent length components and could as a result continuously have an identical section.

This one is yes because the parimeter of a square can only be changed by making all four slides longer or shorter which will change the area.

On a rectangle, you can make two sides longer and the other two shorter and have the same area.

Bill is right about the squares but he was wrong about the rectangles.
