Okay, so, I have this project where I have to teach my Psychology class anything. (Okay, nothing bad. Something school-appropriate.) If anybody has a quick, easy skill, I'd LOVE to know what it is. Oh, and I have to be able to teach it to them in 10 minutes.

Teach them how to make homemade mints! Take 1/4 cup margarine in a ziplock bag, 1/3 cup light corn syrup already measured in a plastic container or another ziploc bag, a bottle of pappermint extract, 1/2 teaspoon salt in another ziploc bag, a box of powdered sugar, a teaspoon for measuring the peppermint, some wax paper, a mixing bowl (preferable unbreakable one), a mixing spoon, and a fork to school.

Lay a piece of waxed paper out for putting the candy on. Put the 1/4 cup of softened margarine in the bowl. Stir in the 1/3 cup of light corn syrup. Measure and stir in 1 teaspoon peppermint extract, the 1/2 teaspoon salt, and then the box of powdered sugar. Mix until it is a smooth (use your hands if you need to as you can squeeze it and get it all mixed in faster than with a spoon towards the end). Pinch off small pieces (about a half inch diameter) of the mixture and roll them into balls in your hands. Put the balls on the waxed paper. After you have done a few, take the fork and press the tines across each ball to flatten them. The fun thing about this teaching project is that you should get at least a few candies done in 10 minutes to finish the assignment, and if you make enough for the class (and the teacher), everyone gets to sample one! If you type up the recipe and give one to everyone, they will be able to go home and make what you taught them!

You might want to do a trial run at home before doing it at school so you have practiced.

These are yummy and easy as they don't have to be cooked.

because they did not get adequate qualified applicants, and experience they favor to interview a minimum of "x" type of folk...they opt for the only or 2 that would want to quite have the skills mandatory, then %. the 'perfect' say 3, 4, or 5 out of a few thing of the applicants to a minimum of say they interviewed quite some human beings for the job (to seem honest and to make it seem as if there became quite a range)... a pal of mine only went by this some months in the past, hiring her substitute...after 2 or 3 wks of promotion the job they were given 2 (on paper) qualified applicants, and one "per chance"...they filled out the sphere with 3 others who did not stand conceivable, because the idea became that they mandatory to interview a minimum of 6 human beings to thrill their Board of directors... I had an interview a month or so in the past for a job I wasn't qualified for, yet might want to were educated (sturdy on paper, yet no journey)...i think strongly that i became referred to as in only to be a range because they had to interview "x" type of folk...i did not stand conceivable of having that job and that became sparkling after the interview and they knew even as they observed my resume that i did not meet many of the criteria they wanted...they wasted their time and mine, to fulfill some purpose or to have interviewed better than the in reality honestly qualified candidate...

Teach them things like how to make Kool-Aid or Jell-O. Simple, fun and you get to eat it afterwards.

Tying knots like boy scouts do.

Or making pirate hats out of news paper... everyone always wonders how you do it. I do anyway. So teach them how!

Or paper cranes.. but that's a bit more difficult

I would def. go for making newpaper pirate hats!
