In my english class we've recently read a book called "The Contender" Now we have been assigned to pick a famous contender and write a little about their life and why they are considered a contender. The only problem is, I have no idea who to choose! It just needs to be someone who had a hard time making it to the top but never gave up. It could be anyone from michael jordan to oprah. Any ideas? I'm having difficulty finding certain information about enlightened despots for an essay I have to write. I know the reasons on "how and why" they got the title enlightened despots(that's the question...how and why they got the title). I can't find elaboration SPECIFICS on why they did what they did(education, human rights, and agriculture)...and I need help badly. what does that mean? i know i cannot use websites but can i use articles or reports from library database? Or does this means that i cannot just past the website but i need to put the website into APA / MLA format? Or if i have sources downloaded from internet, can i use those for sources? I have to do a science fair project for school .
