In my english class we've recently read a book called "The Contender" Now we have been assigned to pick a famous contender and write a little about their life and why they are considered a contender. The only problem is, I have no idea who to choose! It just needs to be someone who had a hard time making it to the top but never gave up. It could be anyone from michael jordan to oprah. Any ideas? ((I'm not too into sports))
