so at first I thought I was stupid because I didn't understand my 2nd graders work, but I have asked a lot of people and no one else knows how to do it either. I am hoping someone here can help me, the example they gave is 38+5= 43, then you are supposed to say yes if you renamed it and no if you did not. They answer is yes, so how did they figure that out?
