where can i find a published argument to print out and take to English class with me?

I am in a college english class and we need to bring a publish arcitle to class, i am haveing problems finding one. I need this becasue we are going to use it in refrence to our next essay writting to persuade others. I just need maybe a link to arugements that have been published. thanks

The best way is to pick a subject that you are interested in and use the word 'versus' or the abbreviation 'vs' in a google search, in the form 'a versus b' or 'a vs b'. Think of 2 suitable terms to search for for a and b, where a and b are on opposite sides of the argument.

Here is an example with -

free-trade versus tariff barriers

submitted to google.

This turned up lots of articles, where some people argue that free-trade of goods between countries increases incomes and benefits everyone. Others argue that people's jobs in poor countries need protecting from cheap goods flooding in from other countries with better more productive factories, by means of import-quotas and tariff-barriers (import taxes).

You could also try 'slavery versus anti-slavery (abolitionism)' in wikipedia.

The first link gives you some tipps on how best to build up an argumentation and the second one has loads of articles that are argumentative in style. i.e. they give the pro's and con's about polemic subjects and therefore lean themselves well for a debate.
