Now, for all the future wise remarks, I do not typically do this for math homework, I've completed 29 of my 30 assigned problems... this is the only one I haven't solved yet.

For example, the buoyancy and ship handling characteristics of a ship are typically modeled using math and physics equations. Similarly, the ship’s rate of turn at a given surface speed and the effects of current and wind on the ship’s relative movement and position are modeled using complex math formulas.

I have noticed a general distatse on the site for kids looking for "quick fix" answers to questions by going on the Yahoo answers website. My feeling is the best way to help kids on this site is to give them additional resources, and have them research the answers for themselves. I'm even thinking of creating a resource webpage if I 1) can't find a site that already fills this need, and 2) get some really good resource websites. If you had to pick one good website for the subject you or your child has the most problems with, what would it be?

I'm not that great at scienc so I'll pick a science resource site.

Kathy Wollard has written some funny and interesting books that help kids answer science questions such as Why do Leaves Change Color? I used this site a great deal in one of my classes.

I am taking English Composition in college right now, and I can't come up with a topic good enought to write 8 different times and 8 different ways. The one due on Monday is a narrative about the subject. What is better -

-talking about how people should listen to rock more than rap

-talking about how myspace is not just for perverts

-how radio broadcasting is cool and why I like it

-something else you can suggest.

I'm totally having writer's block.

Given BD (ray) bisects angle ABC
measure angle ABC = 25
solve for x and y.

There is angle ABC and BD (ray) divide it. there are two angles that make this up 1) angle ABD which is (2x - y) degrees and the other angle 2) is (3y - x) use the information above to solve this.
