How do you finish one?

I've always had trouble writing essays. Poems, short stories and other ways of writing is easy, but an essay is so hard. I write so many drafts and get frustrated. I can't think of supporting evidence, I can't make any references at all to the book, and I have trouble setting it in the right order of standard essay practice.

How can I write without getting stuck?

I need to come up with a good topic for an analytical research paper. I have to be able to answer a question, I can't just report on a topic. I would prefer a topic or question that is computer related, but I am open to any suggestions. I have searched the web for topic suggestions, but input from real people would probably help me more.

I have a project that i have to do for a class and we need to pick a color representing a character from "To Kill A Mockingbird"... my character is Walter Cunningham Sr. he is poor, honest, and won't take anything from you if he knows he can't pay..., but then again he is prejudice against the colored people, I was thinking maybe grey would be a good color..... white representing good, (the poor and honest part of him), and black being bad (his prejudice side). What do you think?? plz I need help!!! .... i also have to give 2 adjectives that represent him but are not synonyms ....thx alot!!! .

She told me that the other day a bigger boy aged 8 or 9 told her that he knew a place where there was an orange tree and he asked her to go with him to eat oranges. Once they arrived there the boy grabbed my daughter and after putting his hands inside her pants reaching her private parts he started to push her from behind with his body, after he did that for some time he runned off.
