Why is it team communication important?

In 2004, I said this in a paper: (In response to small talk) "Community cannot happen unless the connection is made, & the connection is not made unless the motion is halted & connection begins."
As for team communication, if each member of the team does not communicate effectively, then they will not (cannot) function as a team. A team works together, but it cannot work together if communication is not made.
The dynamics of such would also alter it from being a team to a heirarchy.

A team of any kind does not communicate then all the parts could be working towards different goals and if that is the case then the team as a whole will never gain what they are achieving for.
