I have a project that i have to do for a class and we need to pick a color representing a character from "To Kill A Mockingbird"... my character is Walter Cunningham Sr. he is poor, honest, and won't take anything from you if he knows he can't pay..., but then again he is prejudice against the colored people, I was thinking maybe grey would be a good color..... white representing good, (the poor and honest part of him), and black being bad (his prejudice side). What do you think?? plz I need help!!! .... i also have to give 2 adjectives that represent him but are not synonyms ....thx alot!!! .

Before I even read the details to your question, grey was exactly what I was thinking for the very same reasons as you. As for the two adjectives, I might choose: ambivalent and flawed.

Ambivalent because he has these conflicting characteristics to his personality. Flawed because like all of us, he's imperfect as a human being. Some good and some bad.

Me in my view, i'm writing a narrative set in England, yet I spell issues the way I discovered to spell them in accordance to the country I stay in. the only distinction is that if the character is speaking, then i take advantage of British English as adversarial to American English. that's basically the way that seems right to me. because of the fact the author, i'm writing in my dialect for the narration, yet whilst there is character talk then I write of their dialect. in a single case notwithstanding, as quickly as I had to compose a letter as written with the help of between the characters, I did use the spellings he could have used, being somebody from England :) you spot how that works? whilst the character is speaking or writing, I write like them. this is how i'm getting the realism, and accuracy.

I think the grey color is a good idea, on the words to describe him, why don't you think of some and look in a thesarus to see if they are synonyms. If you have a newer version of Word you can also check for synonyms there.

I do believe that white would be a good color. White does symbolize purity, but I seem to remember that a particular white supremist group dresses in white. Plus white is a color that when mixed with another color will never be white again. It spots easily and people who wear white do their best not to get any spots on it.
