Go with a opic your teacher will love that is easy for you...
Maybe there should be a class in your school that they do not offer. Make sure you have a good arguement- like sex education at an earlier age (or not have it in school if that is your stance.) Or gun laws. Or a lower drinking age. Or the issue with our border patrol. Opinion speech on the condition of the school food. Or natiopnalized health care (new documentary on that one coming out in theaters soon...)

what about needle exchange programs for drug abusers, if they are going to be junkies, at least they can have somewhere to get clean needles so they dont spread disease like AIDS. or maybe the abolishment of Kill shelters for animals. no animal should die just because he doesnt have a home. if they are healthy, they should live. or maybe making gay marriage legal. if someone loves eachother, it shouldnt matter sex right? maybe government funding to switch all cars in america to hybrid models and making them cheaper so we can help the ozone and what not. what about the whole immigration thing, that could be good. or free medical for the whole country....like canada.

How about just the general tone of Politiics. These congressmen run for election and promise to do eveything for us then they get to DC and the PARTY they belong to tells them which way they are going to vote or they don't get the plum assignments and/or the money from the Party to get re-elected.
