Does anyone know how i can start to apply for college scholarships as a high school freshman?

I already consolidated my government student loans, but as to my knowledge these companys don't consolidate private loans.

The FAFSA website states "
You may want to answer the parental questions if:

* You are a health profession student (such as a medical or nursing student), or
* The school requires parental information from all student"

I have an option of filling out my parents financial information b/c I plan to attend optometry school next year. Is there benefits in adding my parent's financial information or could this hurt my financial aid package?

I am attending a Bible College in Europe next year and am very much in need of a loan. I have no idea really how to go about doing this. Its not a traditional 4 year school, its basically a vocational school. I know that there must be loans out there, I just need to know how to get them. Also if anyone knows of scholarships that are available for this type of program or even financhial aid...I would really appreciate any information. Thanks

All the colleges I'm looking at going to are around or a little more than $30,000 per year, and then there's also the cost of living. My family is definitly not poor, but we can't pay that or really even help pay for it because, 1) we're in a lot of credit card debt because my mom spent us into oblivion, and 2) my parents never really started saving for my education.

I don't know a lot of details, but we have 5 kids, a lot of debt, an annual income of around $123,000 and we live in Oregon. I know this probably doesn't help much, but if anybody out there knows anything about college aid, it would be helpful!!

It just sucks because I know my family makes more than a lot than other families, but because of our debt and lack of savings, I'll be more than $175,000 in debt by the time I graduate...

I kknow there are scholarships that take forever to do, but i want the scholarships that most people dont take the time for... or the ones that you have to have like left hands or the wird scholarships... help... i need money for college...

I want to take out a loan but I want to not be restricted to only educational purpose because I want to buy a car with a loan that doesn't have to be repaid until after graduation.I hope everyone read this note because ppl tend to answer the questions without reading the extra details because to me they wasted their time trying to answer mine or anyone's question.Thank you to all that help me out.

My husband makes too much money so I don't get any financial aid and our credit is really bad so I can't take out a personal loan... any suggestions? Is there any place that would give me a loan? And i've tried scholarships.. that doesn't work either. I could pay for it out of my pocket but I wouldn't be able to take but one class at at time and I dont want to do that. Any advice...? Thanks!

My dad passed away from cancer when I was 19.I sold the house we lived in.I lived with my mom until she decided she no longer wanted me living there.I bought a house for less.I didn't want an apartment cuz I would pay money in and never get any back.

I had a couple of jobs and was let go from both.Had my son. Had MUCHO problems finding jobs.I am 22.Have little experience etc.
I have been staying home and watching my son.I know that if I get a job I won't make very much and daycare alone will take half of my check as I don't qualify for welfare.My family is not able to watch my son and is drama loaded.I have been paying for everything out of this inheritance.Property taxes,utilities,medical care for myself,food, clothing,etc.The money is getting low $15,000.My aunt also gets a cut as she is the trustee.

The house and my car are in need of repairs. House needs new aroof and the basement wall and the floor are cracking which is dangerous.The car may need a new transmission.None of

I am student at Queensborough College in New York and I was under the impression that my student loan will cover my bill, up until yesterday when I found out im not eligible anymore for some apperent reason. My courses will be dropped in 1 week if the bill is not paid. i'm an EU student curently in my last year of school in the UK where i have been studying for 2 years. In september i will be attending university but i have the problem of finding a student loan! because i have only been in the UK for 2 years i don't think i qualify for a british student loan but maybe there are smaller or private student loan companies which give loans out to EU students aswel as UK ones?? otherwise i have a German passport so would anyone know about any German student loan compaies? and i have also lives in Frace so maybe any French ones?? if you have any names of companies which might be able to help from any of those countries or private companies please let me know!! it would really help!
