there's nothing wrong since they sometimes do not get a full scholarship and have to find work to pay the books, tutition, etc. But they should work as an internship/ for experience and just for the money, how else would they learn and go to school?

I have worked part time all through my undergraduate. I am 2 years in now and while I deffinitely appreciate my schooling because I am financhially (to an extent) responsible for it, I deffinitely wish that working wasn't a necessity. If you don't have to do it, I would recommend just doing things like an internship where you get the job experience in the field of your choice.

I work as a TA and at my school's call center for spending cash. It's fine. i only work 7 hours a week though I worked 12-15 last term and it was fine as well. It's best to get a job where you can do homeowrk on the job.

When I worked while in college I was an office assistant. I pretty much just surfed the internet for 15 hours a week and got paid for it. Best job I ever had.

Most companies prefer to hire graduates who have work experience, especially if it relates to their intended career goals. So try to get part-time work that relates to your field. (ex. jobs related to customer service or sales if you're a marketing major)
