Education & Reference - 30 October 2007

Long story short... he is in the 10th grade. He has been missing alot of school this month because of some health issues and some surgery. Well, one of his teachers has been making comments to the other students at the school that my son is going to fail because he has not been to class much.
I would assume this is not legal!! but I can't find where to look online for the info for this... I was planning on going to the school board and making a complaint, but I wanted some real evidence that its not right for her to make these comments first... Do any of you know anything about this??? Thanks for your help!! I need this ASAP!!!!

I've heard in various tv and radio ads that there are government grants available that can be used to assist in paying bills if you are unable to pay them. I am a single father that has a very large child support payment, that added to a recent increase in my ARM has led me down a road where I am having a lot of problems in paying everything, and still having enough for food and gas........are these grants really available and how do I gain access??

I have gotten all federal loans I gualify for? I got preapproved through Salie Mae but my school denied funding. They said I was not eleigible for anymore needed to apply for a higher tier loan...Sallie Mae says I need co-signer for this. I have no co-signer. Divorced mother of three working on Bachelors Degree desperately need private student loan...online student and computer not working...need new one...using a borrowed laptop at this time. Our daughter is in Kindergarten and has had 8 weeks now to learn all the school rules. The school uses a color change and stamp system. She is sent home each day with either a stamp when she has followed all the rules or a color depending on how many times she has been in toruble by not following a rule. One rule break is yellow, two is orange, three is blue, etc.... She comes home more often then not with a color change. Anytime we tell her she MUST come home with a stamp to attend an event she wants to go to or receive a gift she comes home with a stamp. We know she knows the rules and can adhere to them based on her coming home with a stamp when it is necessary. What form of discipline should we use when she comes home with color changes?? Should we "allow" one color change without taking any action?? She is 5 and therefore can understand the consequences. We want her to do better but are at a lose as to what to do. It just does not seem to be geting better.....but actually worse

If the question was to add punctation to create a clear meaning and this was the sentence :
My three sisters boyfriends are pretty swell fellas except for the one guys habit of beat-boxing at the dinner table.
I changed the sentence so it looked like this:
My three sisters' boyfriends are pretty swell fellas. Except for the one guy's habit of beat-boxing at the dinner table.


Would that be gramatically correct? (Even if it sounds awkward)

I have a bachelors degree in History from Stony Brook University. I am interested in taking most of my Masters credits online. The university of Phoenix offers all of them online. is this a good idea? is it a crap school? Will NY schools frown upon it? Will NY schools accept it. I will , of course , get my certification from NY State. Let me know....I'm in a tough spot and I really need online classes. If U of P stinks can you recommend a suny school with a similar program.

Aprox: three years ago I donated blood a lot to a company called LIFESOURCE, well due to health problems I no longer can do this. Well they call me approx three to six times a day everyday, asking me to donate, at first I told them why I cannot donate, but you get sick of telling someome this after a few hundred calls! I put my number on the do not call list and have filed a hundred complaints gainst them, all to no good, they still

Alrite I'am about to apply for financial aid but my dad died when I was younger...My mom got re-married a year ago and now my mom's husband, my two brothers, and myself all live together.
