I feel like I am going to have a anxiety attack about entering nursing?
school. I am attending a expensive private school this far, and hae taken out 14,000 inloans already. I still have 3 years left. I am nervous if I fail out my life will be ruined. I want it but sometimes I dont have a lot of confidence, and this is my worst enemy. I hear stories about people failing out. Any R.N.s advise for someone who was always an average student not great at math.

I am 27 and just starting community college. Late started, I know. I was able to get enough money to cover school, but I have to buy my own books and would like to find out if there is a book samaritan for college textbooks or if there is such a thing as free textbooks for people who can't afford them.

Hello there,
Im in Biology Phd program now and it will be my sencond year in Fall Semester. But I find i totally hate bench work and i regret choosing it though i still love science. It makes me unhappy in the lab.

I really want to change but how?

I myself want to take Business undergraduate program and then master program. i think maybe it will cost me 5 years totally as well as the Bio-Phd will cost me if i continue.
However, some of my friend say:PhD is a status symbol in the bussiness world and i should continue bio and when im in third year of the Phd program i can take master study in business at the same time. It is too old for me to take undergraduate classes.

i dont like to waste my time in the bench work...i want do business...how can i do? which major shall i take? business? finace?MBA?.....

Thank you!

Last year, I dropped out because I was going through depression and it interfered with my classes. I'm on medication now, and my doctor agrees that I am a much better and happier person. I really did like the college that I started out at (University of Central Ok.) and want to go back. I owe some money to them for dropping so soon, because my grants were taken away from me. If I am able to pay that money back with a loan, is it possible that they'll take me back?

I love to sing when no one is around, I think I sound good, I sound good in choir to. I am taking choir in school, I went to open house today, and my choir teacher told me that I will have to sing alone in front of everybody in choir, she kept telling me everyone has to do it. But I am still freakin' scared! I bombed the auditions for High School Musical play at my school, but since it was a school thing I got in and became a cheerleader. How do I face my fear without turning red!?!?!!?? PLEASE HELP!!!

I have a B.S. in Animal Science and passed my state's teacher licensure test for Biology. Now what? I have no experience teaching except as a teacher's assistent in college (which I loved!). What's a good way to gain experience in a short time or would I be better off getting another degree? Science teachers are in high demand here, I shouldn't have trouble getting a job, right? Any advice from teachers who didn't take the traditional route?

I have a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, Business Admin. from a pretty decent university, however, I have just decided to become a Nurse (obtaining an associate's degree from a technical college). So what I'll probably end up with is two bachelor degrees. Can anyody give me some advice on whether the route I'm taking is counterproductive?

help me do anything,I was there because I could not be helped(1970s).Is that setting me up for
failure or not?

I was approved for a $10,000 private loan for college. The thing is, they don't send the funds directly to the student but to the financial aid department. The school year I put on the form was for August 2007 - May 2007 but I should be graduating this December. Will I receive the extra money after they pay my tuition or will the school office send it back to Sallie Mae or will they give me some of it and keep the rest? I was approved today for the loan, how long does it take for Sallie Mae to disburse the funds to the school and for me to actually get them? Any other information that can be provided an helpful would be great. Thanks!
