Education & Reference - 13 July 2007

I notice that some people use the word "that" all the time, and others don't - and the sentence seems to work either way, with or without the "that"
Example:
"I know you like green jello"
"I know THAT you like green jello"

"Do you think such a radical method would work?"
"Do you think THAT such a racidal method would work?"

Which is correct?

It's almost mid July already and i really need help. Sat prep centers such as Princeton Review and Kaplan are very expensive. 12 days for 1000 dollars. How much do prep centers help you improve? Is it the same thing as studying on your own?

What should i do, should i just go for the prep center or study on my own w/ those big fat books ?

I am really afraid of studying on my own and i am so scared of the SAT.

Please give me some suggestions and tell me what you did to get your sat score that you got and share some experiences!

i'm not a booksmart person AT ALL...there are people who, when they study, it just comes easily to them. I'll read for hours, use notecards, etc...but i won't do as well as i would have liked to. I'm definitely more "people smart". I want to become a nurse soo i kinda need to be "smart" with alot of concepts - what's the key to being booksmart? Any tips?

I took a break in 2004 when I had my daughter and now I want to go back but I'm broke. I filled out my FAFSA and DCTap for assistance but is their other programs that I can apply to. Hi,

I am currently undergrad Math Student going into 3rd year.
I dont want want to teach later on...so I am considering more of applied courses rather then theoretacal.

I am taking Stats courses which i think would be useful later on.
As far Math in concerend should I take Partial Differential Equations and Real Analysis ?

I took 2 Algebra courses in 2nd year but couldnt see the point of it since i dont want to teach ...shoud I leave Algebra out now...?
